System requirements

Famos robotic® is a 64 bit Windows application and runs on desktop and notebook PCs with Windows 10/11 64 bit. The system requirements depend on the specific requirements of your application. Install the demo version and check your system.

Important

  • Famos robotic® V9 requires a graphics adapter witch supports at least OpenGL 3.2.
  • For notebooks, we recommend a dedicated graphics card. On-board graphics cards are supported to a limited extent! Simple projects have been successfully tested with Intel UHD-530, UHD-630, UHD-750, HD-4000, UHD-Raptorlake-S.

  • Quad-core processor with 3.0 GHz or better
  • 16 GB of RAM or more
  • Windows® 10/11
  • 2 GB free disk space
  • NVIDIA graphics adapter with OpenGL 4.0* support and 4 GB of memory or more
  • Monitor 65 cm (25“), 2048 x 1152 Pixel
  • One free USB port for the dongle
  • With 3 mouse buttons and scroll wheel


* OpenGL 3.2 is available since 2009. OpenGL 4.0 is available since 2010.
